I'm in a similar boat. I had a $130 metal zinus bed frame in my cart on the Walmart app but for a little more, this seems like a way better deal.
Every metal frame I looked at online just screamed cheap and wasn't the look I was going for. This looks really nice for only $154. Just have to hope my cats don't tear it up!
Lol I hate to say it but I would bet those cats go to town on this thing.
And I agree that metal looks cheap. Also I don't like it's thermal properties since it will always be cold to the touch in winter. This will be more pleasant all around. No cats for me to worry about either.
Edit: Bedbugs? WHAT? Never heard new beds coming with bedbugs, do they recycle old / returned stuff?

I have one of these and have used it for a couple years now. While it looks nice, the wood is just a step or two stronger than balsa wood. VERY light, not even pine. Our frame cracked right at the point where one sits down. I repaired it with several bolts, and it's been fine ever since, but I wasn't terribly surprised after I set it up initially.
