I bought a Fila two months ago for $25. It got a hole on the inside within two weeks. Maybe I got a bad piece but I will avoid this brand for now.

My experience with FILA sneakers are mixed. Got a pair of their cheapest and the bottom pattern worn out in just a couple of days. Also got another pair that was slightly more expensive and it lasted very long. Anyway, in for 2 pairs to try again.

I'll head over to Lowes and pick up some contractor cement. LMAO
I actually tried some ShoeGoo that I had laying around and clamped it real good. Worked for about 2 days. 🫤

I've had 2 pairs of Fila over the past 5 years. One was extremely comfortable with memory foam insoles, but the rubber decorations(?) on the bottom came unglued and kept tripping me. The others are pretty uncomfortable but seem to last forever...

Combine the best of both and they'd be great!

What are you expecting for under $20?

I bought these last time they went on sale at Kohls, maybe 18 months ago. I remember getting 3 pairs for < $50

Pleasantly surprised with them. Ugly shoes, but confortable, and perfect for chores around the house, cutting grass, that sort of thing.

The trim piece around the toe always seems to come apart, but thats just cosmetic. Otherwise, solid shoes. You can see, I've worn this paid down pretty well, and the soles are still holding together nicely.

I actually do like that all these 90s brands like Fila, Champion, and Saucony are making a comeback these days.

Fila sells cheap shoes though. I wouldn't wear them for style. I bought a pair a couple years back for running on the treadmill. They seemed okay while I used them. Wide enough in regular sizes I think.

Good price though. I bought some cheap Wal Mart shoes (Starter I think) for like $15 that got destroyed just from one season of mowing the lawn with them. Those shoes are like $18 now, so these Filas are actually cheaper. Prob should expect similar quality though. A couple of sharp twigs and my Starter shoes were done for.

No, they're really that bad. I got two pair for around $26 a couple years ago and I wore one pair three times and they are trashed. I wore the other pair twice and didn't like them at all. I need to dig them out and throw them both away.

I coincidentally have this exact pair from who knows when, they used to be my main shoes but have been demoted to exercise shoes when I got a replacement 2 years ago. They're good but the $17 price makes this deal great. Even if they only last me 1 year, for $17 I'm all for it. I bought a 2nd pair but different style, to qualify for free shipping.

I bought a Fila three years at Costco. Wear it almost every time when I need to get out of the house for non business settings.
Still kicking now. No any damages.

If you wear them to run tracks, get an actual running shoes. This is less than $20. Use them in a proper way
Your preaching realistic expectations.
Good luck with that!

The last two pairs of FILA sneakers I had, had the heel self-destruct after accidentally folding the heel down when putting them on. I avoid FILA at all costs now, there's a reason they're so cheap.

I'd recommend a decent insole to make these better on your feet.

I got nothing to make them look better though…
They look like most running shoes to me.
