Yeah, the 750 is a better deal. BUT the rebate on the 750 doesn't actually start until 11-08-22 even though Amazon seems to be saying it starts today.

If you buy the 750 before 11-08-22 your rebate WILL be DENIED!

I am sure most people still forget things in 2022. It's very beneficial for that reason.

I thought the samething at first. But it's still a way to get people to buy it hoping you don't actually send it in or forget or whatever. It's a sale without having to sell 100% of sold units at the discounted price. That scheme will always make sense from a financial standpoint.

This should be $30 without having to deal with MIR.

Everyone pays $70 out the door and most won't be receiving any mail rebate even if they submit the form.

Exactly right, $70 for a C rated unit. Just spend on a PSU that is between $30 - $50 with a better rating and not have to worry about getting your rebate. There are plenty of deals that doesn't require a MIR.

Always better to buy 80+ GOLD for heavy duty users.

24x7 use with average of 200W use will save $30/year @ 32c/kW. A GOLD power supply will pay for itself within a year.

32 cents per kWh? Good God. Even though prices have skyrocketed in Texas they are not nearly that much. <knock on wood>

My last bill was a little over 13 cents per kWh and that is a little lower than what is has been.

That's the base price for PG&E in the Bay Area.

Just asking can I get a rebate for this and the 750w or can I get only one rebate at a time?

Exactly... they should just reduce the price of the product.

I wonder if they've ever heard of a thing called 'a sale'...
I wonder if you've ever heard of the expression - "are they here to make you happy or to make money on you"?

Just take into account that this money is not wasted but goes into heating your apartment.. which is good thing for half a year.

Is it 13 cents just for the generation and you pay more for transmission and other regulated charges

Mine is .09 but another .11 for the other charges

You're right but it's not my point. 32 cents per kWh for specially inflated to make so-called 'gold' PS more attractive.

Hopefully both if they want to stay in business.
