If you got the Series S deal with the free controller back in October, They are price matching the controller to the lower price. Just did it through chat.
Genius. Thanks and repped!

How much did you get back? They are only offering $8.50 difference for me. Sounds weird.
Edit: It was $54.99 for the black controller at the time of the deal. Current price is $35.99. They claimed I used a 10% storewide coupon (I did), so it reduces the value. They also said the free controller discount somehow affects the value (shocker), but they claimed $8.50 was the difference. How it got to that number wasn't disclosed, but I argued with simple math. $54.99 - 10% ($5.50) = $49.49. Then $49.49 - $35.99 = $13.50, so that's the amount I 'should' get back, plus tax (which for me comes to $14.66, but I didn't type this number into the chat). He said "to make things hassle free, let me help you with $14.66" to which I agreed and said that's the exact amount I got. He then replied with "I've successfully processed the refund. The refund amount of $15.17 will be credited back....."
Not sure how we got to these numbers (adding my tax rate to $14.66 makes it $15.92, so that wasn't it), but whatever. Moral of the story, I don't think anyone has a clue and be prepared for random nonsense not backed by logic.

Grabbed an electric volt from Amazon for the same price. I have robot white and carbon black. So now I'll order a funky color lol. Thanks for the deal OP!
any advice/experience on the colors? does the white hold up or get scuffed easily?
White gets dirty easily IMO. Dualsense controllers with the textured micro sacred symbols on the back are even worse about this, because they act as an exfoliator for your hands. This is the wrong thread for that, but the concept and point stand. Yes I'm a clean person who washes my hands.

I bought one of these when they first came out and noticed a decrease in quality compared to my Xbox One controllers. Had issues with the home button and random temporary disconnects. It eventually stopped pairing with my Xbox altogether, so I had to pull out my original 2014 controller.
