Based on the info that I have gathered there does not seem to be much benefit to get anything but a B650 unless you are a serious overclocker. I have paired a 7700X with the Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX. I went with that based on the PCIE 5.0 M.2 slot (for future expansion) and having 3 x M.2 slots. If one only needs 2 x M.2 slots you could go with the MATX board instead -- B650M Aorus Elite AX.
I am looking at the x670e MB + AMD 7700 and DDR5 Memory, something that works
