Do you know if the stand can be reused on another monitor? Curious for future monitor replacement.

I'm not at expert, so could someone elaborate on what makes this monitor better than some of the $299-350 deals on other UHD 4k monitors from Samsung/Lg. All seem to have 60hz refresh rates a 4-5ms response times. Is it just the nice arm on this that makes it worth more? Or Costco warranty?

I think it's the superior mount and one cable solution with USB-C that delivers power and video. And I think the screen has pretty good color accuracy. This is just from what I gather from the previous FP posts. I've been on the fence about getting this monitor for a while.

Besides the arm I think most of the monitors in $299-350 price range don't have USBC power delivery. Samsung M7 does have USBC power delivery and is typically in that price range but does not that good reviews.

I've been using it for a few days and I like it so far. One dislike is the nits (too dim).

I want 400 nits+.

To answer your question, I think it is the arm that is the reason for the higher price tag.

I've check previous FP deals here for monitors and I think I should wait for this to go back on sale.

This Gigabyte monitor is also a good option at the $500 price range.

IPS panel, high 90s% of the color coverage, USB C power, and the stand

Does the arm appear transferable to another monitor or does it use a proprietary attachment?

Just came across the above monitor and noticed that it has airplay and android TV built into it. Is it cuz the one posted here is ultrafine, and that's why it's the same price as the link above?

Monitor comes with square metal attachment I believe 100x100 vesa which connects the arm and monitor. I believe it can be transferred to another monitor.

Never knew LG introduced smart monitors like Samsung M series https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/t/16127227. Looking through the specs seems like ultra fine is brighter at 350 cd/m2 vs 250 for the smart one you linked.

Apparently that one was released last month, and is only selling through LG directly at the moment. Keep in mind that while it is a "smart monitor," it's also a VA display.

It is VA
