The description does not state whether these have the safescreen with very limited viewing angle and mediocre reviews. IPS in the SD description is not mentioned on ebay either...

That is exactly why I've linked the manual to this laptop literally in the first comment. If you'd have bothered to check/read it, you wouldn't have commented this.

Open the manual and head over to the display option and see it for yourself. There are only 3 display options for this clamshell model; one HD (non-touch) and three FHD (touch and non-touch). This has the touch screen and only one FHD panel has it which has no privscy safescreen according to the manual.

Instead of thumbing down a deal without any verification, please do a background check first.

I did not thumb down and also looked at the manual. It lists touch as possibility for the secure screen in the upper table but not the lower...

My dear friend, please read what's written right above those tables.
The first table is for '2-in-1' model.
The second table is for 'laptop' or clamshell model. This is the latter.

I bought a acer refurbish off ebay and it was in mint condition. acer was the ebay seller where this is sold by new.techies.

I BROUGHT A REFURBISH DELL XPS FROM DELL DURING one of the 50 percent off promo. the battery was shot after 6 months of used. most of these used item were leased to corp and their battery is terrible. it doesnt hold the charge.. then after about a yrs the screen went black. basically i got a lemon..
