Got these from best buy a few months ago.

They are pretty sharp, look cute, and the sheaths are fairly useful.

Ooh you have the right idea. I like updating my emergency travel kit and having a dedicated set of cooking knives, although obscure, would be a great addition especially for camping trips at this price.

Yup, we have them as part of our kitchen kit for VRBO/AirBnB places too. Never know what you'll need or find so we have a small tote with tools and some spices.

If you sharpen them properly on a whetstone, it shouldn't be an issue. But any kind of sharpener that contacts the non-blade part of the knife will scratch it up although some people will put masking tape on the sides to avoid that happening (can happen with any knife).
