This with 5yr panel warranty or C2 + 5yr warranty from Costco? Confused how warranty works between both these models.

So I'm in the same boat. I have a LG C2 coming from Costco. My understanding is that the Costco warranty is 1st yr is LG, 2nd year is Costco and 3-5yr is Allstate. And it covers most anything expect burn-in. Plus there is the 60 day return if it doesn't work just right in my room.

The LG G2 warranty, according to to the web site, is 1st yr part/labor and the 2-5 is panel only with parts, you pay labor.

Bro its a tv not a car! Chances of a tv malfunctioning are minimal, most issues are from power surges. Unless you live in a house prone to lightning stop worrying about the warranty!

Live and FL so lighting is a concern. Been here only a couple years and have had 2 houses within a mile of me get struck by lighting. One burnt to the ground. :-O

Is there any one that was able to confirm 5 year lg warranty is still valid on this purchase. Lowes is not listed as a authorized TV reseller for LG on Lg website.

I totally agree. Most of these big box stores earn the bulk of their profits off folks worrying about warranting stuff like this. The oldest TV in my home is a Samsung Plasma manufactured in Oct 2006. It's still running. Two other TVs that are 15 and 10 yrs old. Both still work.
And two newer TVs built in 2019 and 2022.

They all are functioning. Bought a warranty for my 2019 LG C8, guess what, waste of money. That warranty has expired now.

I won't spend another dime on extra warranties for anything. That includes vehicles. Because I've never used the ones I did buy.

I agree with warranty not being used. But I do have one incident where my camera went bad and the best buy replacement warranty was so good that I just walked in an got a new camera. So I guess 95% of the time its great and how it comes in handy is your luck. But AllState is a shitty company who I am not sure is easy to deal with. I know they are bad a home insurance

I bought my plasma that same month! Panny 50". Still works, major energy hog though and thinking about replacing it for a cheap 4k 55" this year.

I ordered one of these, at the $2756+tax price October 11th. Lowe's used CEVA Logistics to ship it, and no one can tell me where it is. They can't tell me where it is, or when it will be delivered, and every time I ask, they say "we'll get back to you in three days"... and then they don't. I have to poke and prod them for more answers.

Now they're saying they might refund my order if they *still* don't get a response. They said they'd cut me a discount if I reordered. That opens a LOT of awkward questions, like:

- How can they guarantee a re-order would actually get delivered?
- Why should I need to re-order? If they're capable of getting me a set, just do it, and hide whatever insurance claims Lowe's needs to field against CEVA from me. It shouldn't matter to me.
- I spent a lot of time, effort, and money preparing for the set. Sold my current OLED at a deep discount to a family member. Moved my wall-mounted speakers. Bought new bias lighting, bought new HDMI cables, etc. A refund doesn't make me whole, and I seriously question whether or not they'd let me re-order at such a good discount..
- Why do I have to keep chasing them down for answers they promise to provide me in a fixed timeframe?

They've had a lot of opportunities to make this right, and they're *still* messing it up. I'm about to take it up with Amex.

New technology is unproven until it is proven. G2 was released this year with brighter OLED levels than ever before. For $3k people care about warranty.

I had a completely opposite experience. I purchased on a Monday, TV was delivered at 10am on Wednesday. No hassle at all. Just cancel your order with them and reorder. When I spoke to Lowe's, they said these ship directly from LG, not Lowe's.

When I registered, Lowe's is in the drop down menu.
