Honestly these deals are a little disappointing after seeing Google's big marketing dollars push upon the 7's launch.

Pixel 7: Has been available with trade-in values for a significant period of time for net cheaper than this

Pixel 7 Pro: Mint deal at $499+plan has been in and out for over a week now, plenty of time to grab one (including now)

Pixel 6a: Was literally just $299 for over a week straight from google store

A-series buds: Were just $50 at Target last week

Hub: Same price it's been before

I don't know..a little underwhelming for me.

Do note that the Google trade in process is very slow! A 3rd party sends you a trade in kit using the slowest USPS and then you send it back using the slowest USPS, and wait 5 business days for assessment. Totaling about 3 weeks to complete trade in from day of purchase…

Should I wait for BF or buy now? Right now Google FI is discounting the 7 pro for $200 if I switch. I don't have a trade. Not sure why I would wait until BF and save only $150. Thoughts? Am I missing something?

you have to be with Google Fi for 4 months and sign up as new customer by bringing in new number. And go look at reddit sub for horror stories of suddenly many of them get the message saying disqualified for promo after 60 or 90 days and will be charged $200 or $600.

If you don't have trade in then BF deal with $100 promo is good deal. .

Understood, but shouldn't there be something during check out to notify you that the code is registered or maybe a line item reflecting that a $100 gift credit will be included with the purchase? I literally see nothing to suggest that upon checking out and applying the code.

I have the more expensive version, my sister has the cheaper version. Aside from looks, they essentially do the same thing (full control via phone on both). I absolutely hated the "learning" feature of the more expensive model and turned it off. The more expensive one also allows you to link wireless temperature sensors on other floors (if you don't have drastic temperature differences, this won't matter.) Those are the only major functional differences.

From what I've seen, retailers don't care if the phone is carrier locked. They just want it to be wiped with "find my iPhone" turned off or free of any google account log in. Basically just back top factory settings. They don't even ask about carrier or sim locks.
