Oh man. Samsung and Best Buy caught up on the trade ins. They lowered the S21s to only $600 in trade-in value.

Was able to trade two S21 in for two S22+ to be shipped because they didn't have stock in the store along with a balances on the gift cards.

Store rep stated that they can only do two trade ins per customer every 12 months.

I saw conflicting info on this... can we purchase a Verizon S22+ or is this only for unlocked S22+? If only unlocked, is there any disadvantage using an unlocked phone on Verizon instead of a Verizon locked phone? Thanks

Seems like no brainer deal. S21 is nearly 2yr old phone and has a greater trade value which make S22+ nearly free.

Tax in CA is around $71. So $800 minus $750 minus $71(tax). So i will pay $21

Deal is great for consumer, doesnt make too much sense for BB/samsung

PS. i tried to copy the data unto a different Samsung phone via Smart switch. data saved by MultiParrallel app dont seem to transfer over. anyone of a better copy tool ?

I walked into first BB store they gave me only 130$ for my S21 5G. I told them about this in store trade in deal and they checked on to their site and did not give me the 800$ offer.
I went to the second store and told them many of my friends are exchanging their old phone and i think there is instore deal going on. Yes the agent agreed that there is promotional deal on top of trade in value that shows on their site. Finally he gave me 800$ and I just paid tax 15$ and walked out with new S22+ 256 GB

Failed to trade in an S20 FE Dual SIM international version. They apparently have a list of specific model numbers that are eligible for trade-ins. US versions should be acceptable.
