Oh man. Samsung and Best Buy caught up on the trade ins. They lowered the S21s to only $600 in trade-in value.

yeah that could work too, sometimes they send you to customer service for return and not sure if they let you rebuy.

Is my understanding on the deal right? no new line needed?

No new line needed for this promo. I got $600 and a $200 gift card for my s21.

After paying taxes in MN I still had $38 on the gift card.

Sorry can you explain it little more on breakdown? I thought S21 is 800$ trade in value. why are you saying 600$ and 200$. how does the actual transaction work?

My shipping shows it arrives by friday which is 11/11 and i thought deal is getting over on 11/10 does it mean when i return and rebuy they wouldnt owner the 749$ price?

I'm going in with the phone when I get it and doing the pickup along with the trade in. Also, the 256gb models aren't in stock at any stores near me so I had it ship to store. Regardless it will be ymmv. That rep said I could do this so idk

You got screwed by Amazon, the phone is probably black listed (reported as lost or stolen). Take it up with them.

S21 does get $800. But they break that down with $600 for phone trade in along with a $200 gift card. They use the $200 gift card for the remaining amount after the $600 is taken from the $750 sale price.

You should have checked IMEI with online checkers to see if it's not blacklisted by any network or company. If it is your option is to return it ASAP

Has anyone confirmed that the extra trade credit ends tomorrow? I saw several posts here that it does. Can anyone confirm this? I wanted to get the 256GB, but it wouldn't be here until next Tuesday so that'll not allow the extra trade.

Some companies also blacklist for non payment (unpaid balance) as well so it might be also possibility.
