Anyone know how long this deal is for?

Also lets say I get a renewed Samsung S21 5G off Amazon ($289+tax) that comes in on Monday. Trade that in-store for the S22+. I may get the 256GB for $799. Basically a wash. Just tax on both items if I'm not mistaken?

Will basically come out to about $350ish after taxes for a S22+ 256GB model.

My biggest worry is they won't have it in stock at my local BestBuy and/or they won't be able to replicate this deal for whatever reason.
people who don't have $800 credit device and no tmobile.. Exactly my thoughts...

I am late as well for ordering and receiving the phones from amazon or ebay (return to third party is big hassle as well).

I don't see end date of promotion on BestBuy (following link). Also local store can stop giving trade-in value for any reason can create big hassle...

What actually comes in an activated new phone? Does it come with a sim card pre-installed inside the new box?

Sharing my story: (Hope it will help fellow SD'ers)
FYI - I have three BB stores within 20 min drive distance.

11/11: I went to one of my nearest BB stores to do a trade-in for S21 and get S22+. They didn't have any S22+ in stock so I told them to ship to my address. Apparently, there was some issue in the system so I told them to do in-store pickup. In-store pickup was scheduled for 11/17. I thought I will change the shipping from in-store to shipping later. (BIG MISTAKE) I walked with $200 GC as I did T mobile activation.

11/12: On the next day, I saw S22+ is available for shipping the next day on my zip code. I chatted with a customer care agent and told them to modify my order for shipping instead. They tried to do it but couldn't modify the order. He suggested me we can cancel this order and place a new one for shipping. I said that's fine. I also said it's a trade-in order so don't want to mess up anything. Maybe the rep didn't read my message and he canceled it immediately. When it was time to reorder, he said he can't do it because if paid $0 and they can't create free orders over the chat. After back and forth he apologized for giving the wrong information and created a case for my request and gave me the case id. He told me to go to ANY best buy store and give them the case id and they should be able to help me out as he mentioned everything in the notes. I went to the BB store after a few hours. I went to a different store this time. I explained my situation and they informed me - You have to go to my original BB store as they had your trade-in. They can cancel your trade-in and redo the transaction. Fine. I went to the original store. I spoke to the manager (His tag was Retail Supervisor) and explained everything. He was clueless at first about what to do. After some time he told me he can order a phone for me but I had to pay $750 from pocket because there are no funds in the refund request. I said yes because I trade in the phone and paid nothing. After almost 45 min of me getting frustrated with his answers and response - he told me lets wait for a day. I will get your original Samsung coupon amount back then we can do the transaction. He told me to come back tomorrow. I left the store (Frustrated)

11/13: Today he gave me a different version - He told me your transaction was canceled and we have requested to cancel your trade-in. Once the trade-in is canceled we can have your phone and then we can redo the transaction. He mentioned because today is Sunday trade-in cancellation request won't be processed until tomorrow. He told me he will call me tomorrow with the update. He mentioned if the prices changes tomorrow you have to pay the difference or we will give you your old phone back. I argued a lot but in the end and left the store. I thought of going to a third store just to validate whether what these guys are saying is correct or not. I decided to take a chance and went to the third store. After explaining this store's rep said (he was accompanying a Samsung guy as well) that's so not true. Trade-in cancellations are processed within 2 min. There is no Sunday thing. I was so pissed off at this time knowing how misinformed that manager was. The third store's rep told me to go to the original store tomorrow and if they gave me further trouble contact us here, and we will explain to them how to resolve it.

I will go again tomorrow. Hoping it should get resolved. The moral here is DO NOT MODIFY YOUR TRADE IN ORDER EVER!!!!

I would say doing some cancel rebuy definitely relying on reps, So YMMV, many reps are like "you not take advantage of this, no!, But some are so nice and play around, spend some time and redo the whole thing, I am glad I have mind done with a nice one. But again, just do push it too hard, be polite still, I mean, they refuse is still following the policy terms, just we knew that the system will eventually allow us to do so,

Wondering if the $250 upgrade/activation promo is good for iPhone. Best Buy has little to nothing good iPhone deals lately. Hope something big coming soon.

Anyone order from ebay seller cellfeee?
I got my S21 from that seller. Pretty reliable and was able to trade in successfully. I selected 2 day FEDEX shipping for free on Wednesday, and got it on Friday. Seller said that they don't ship new orders until the next business day, which I'm assuming is Monday-Friday. But the seller did drop my phone at FEDEX that late afternoon I placed my order.
