In fact, Panda Express still pretty much holds the same price as before the trillions of dollars pumped into the US market because of Covid.
1 plate of Panda Express = $9.50 used to be $9
1 Big Mac sandwich = $4.50 used to be $2.99
1 Chipotle Burrito = $11.50 used to be $8.99
1 bowl of pho = $15 used to be $9.50
1 banh mi sandwich = $7 used to be $3.99
All prices are based on before March 2020 vs now
most Chinese or Asian restaurant prices are out of control, I actually know more Chinese starting to eat panda because of the crazy price increase(me included), pho used to be like 10 and it's now 13~14 for small, plus tax and tips that is easily $18 for a bowl of noodle. where panda for me I can still have leftovers(when I use their free entrée coupon) and it's $12 fixed, it's greasy as hell but I don't eat it everyday
