I could literally see me buying this and less than a minute after she starts using it she's already out of prints.

It's a good gift at a good price. I'm looking for deals on the camera which allows uploading of photos + bt connection.
But this is a good point and shoot camera
The best price I've seen was $13.99 and I think that was a flash sale.

Throughout the year B&H will clearance their expired film for 6 or 7 dollars. It works fine.

Try the value 60 pack. It's usually $34.99 at b&h before tax.
Also try eBay. I just bought star wars edition Instax mini film for $3.33 per pack. It was bought in bulk 10 pack lots. Expired in 2021.
Same. The thing that has me worried is right now when she borrows my phone to take pictures, I end up with 500+ pics each time and a 12 minute long video of the ceiling.

We got one for my 6 year old. He loves it. We give him a 10 pack of film every couple of weeks, plus when we're on vacation. We pay about $6/pack. He goes weeks without using it, then might blow through 10 photos in a couple hours. Would recommend. Buy them an album so they can keep the photos out and share.
Thanks
You can still make the little 2x3 Zink sticker pics with something like a Pogo printer which will print from a phone using blu tooth, or from a small digital point & shoot using a cable.
The Polaroids were always fun at parties.
