Don't know why this made FP. Terrible price for a QLC drive at mid-tier level when the top tier TLC drives have been at this price frequently. The Kingston linked earlier, for example.

If I put it in a USB enclosure, will the PS5 give me the same performance as the in-built SSD?

A huge leap in ssd density is about to be released.. 4tb will now easily cost what 2tb cost right now and the next leap will be to 15tb... then 30tb and 60tb...within a year or so...qlc densities of 15x are coming..

Won't work for PS5 games via USB.

Does not meet the specs for a PS5.

Good find the RW speeds seem much faster and the longevity is much better as well. For 10 bucks more seems like a no brainer. The read speeds on the OPs find seem rather slow in comparison.

This is not a good deal for a QLC drive at all. TLC drives can be had at this price.
