It's not the best deal but is not a bad deal either. It comes with the quick charger which is unheard of in nearly any similar dewalt kit as well as a 2ah and 8ah battery. I think what turns most people off about the deal is that the OP didn't mention the free gift tool that comes with it. You have your choice between the power detect circ saw, recip saw, or another 8ah battery. Overall, it not a bad deal but there's definitely been better.
