If you are already invested in the Eufy camera ecosystem, this is a great addition; it is very reliable, as opposed to the Level Lock, which I had a very frustrating time with.
That said, unlike the Level lock, it is not compatible with HomeKit; I don't want to imply otherwise. Just wanted to give my very enthusiastic thumbs up to this smart lock, especially since you get to keep your actual lock system.
Bought the black version without the finger print for $100 and the silver version $120 on the second Prime day a few weeks back and both work flawlessly, that said, I want to switch to the finger print on the black one just as it's so convenient.

Was also thinking of the black one, why you prefer the finger print version now?
I really really like my Eufy Lock, there was some initial issues with connecting last year with Eero but they've released an update that resolved that.
It just works. Battery life is great, basically zero connection drops, super reliable. I honestly don't think you could go wrong with it. Like others have said, I do wish there was some Homekit integration because I'd love to leverage Apple Keys (?) or whatever was recently introduced on the NFC side to enable phones as keys.

Can't anyone lift your fingerprints from the door handle that you use to open the door? It doesn't sound safe for a front door lock ..
I have the non fingerprint version and have been using it for a few months on two doors. It's awesome. My very technology skeptical wife didn't want me to install them, but now that they are in she loves them.
