If you are already invested in the Eufy camera ecosystem, this is a great addition; it is very reliable, as opposed to the Level Lock, which I had a very frustrating time with.

That said, unlike the Level lock, it is not compatible with HomeKit; I don't want to imply otherwise. Just wanted to give my very enthusiastic thumbs up to this smart lock, especially since you get to keep your actual lock system.

Bought the black version without the finger print for $100 and the silver version $120 on the second Prime day a few weeks back and both work flawlessly, that said, I want to switch to the finger print on the black one just as it's so convenient.

Do the num keypad show wear and tear on the keys after repeated use?

This works with Alexa and Google.

Was also thinking of the black one, why you prefer the finger print version now?

States SD card required, assuming I need to buy that separately to be prepared to install this?

I really really like my Eufy Lock, there was some initial issues with connecting last year with Eero but they've released an update that resolved that.

It just works. Battery life is great, basically zero connection drops, super reliable. I honestly don't think you could go wrong with it. Like others have said, I do wish there was some Homekit integration because I'd love to leverage Apple Keys (?) or whatever was recently introduced on the NFC side to enable phones as keys.

Can't anyone lift your fingerprints from the door handle that you use to open the door? It doesn't sound safe for a front door lock ..

I have the non fingerprint version and have been using it for a few months on two doors. It's awesome. My very technology skeptical wife didn't want me to install them, but now that they are in she loves them.

I've had mine in for a few months, using them multiple times every day and they have shown no wear. They are rubber and seem pretty durable.

I assume the finger print scanner can be disabled in some way so that only the keypad works. Am I correct?

I'm 4 months into the original batteries and they are showing 4/5 bars charged on the basement doors and 3/5 bars on the front door (gets more use).

What is the advantage of this lock over Google nest x Yale lock if I'm already in the Google ecosystem?

Does this lock alert you if the deadbolt doesn't fully engage? It doesn't say anywhere and that is pretty important to me.
