I just bought this 4 days ago at the higher price. I contacted samsung support and they price adjusted it for me to save $40.
I ended up paying 270 before tax. Did you have the same experience and called and they refunded the difference ???

I was charged 270 for the item after using the first responder discount. Maybe I can call and get the extra $40 off... 🤔

Bought this bar a week ago for $319, going through my second price match now lol. Very easy to do through chat. Paired it with my Samsung QN90A and so far very happy with the results, more immersive and crisp than my previous sound bar. Feels pretty hard to beat at this price.

I have a .edu email and just picked this up. Was looking for a nice soundbar for a good price on black friday. There's a 15 day return window that gets me through Black Friday, and I'm willing to spend a little more if anything better comes out in the next couple weeks.

Really interested to hear the comparison of this to the 800 series, and wish I got in on the deal to pick that up under $500.

Anyway, interested to hear feedback from anyone using this. My TV room is 20 X 14.

Yes I chatted with their rep and they refunded 40$
The rep that I spoke with made me place a new order and return the one I'm receiving today.... I've just had such bad luck with Samsung i feel like.
Edit: got off a chat with another rep and they refunded the difference lol. Thank you for your post, I thought Samsung was just dumb, but I tried again and all is good now. Appreciate you

I don't think this has really been accurately answered here....FOR THIS PRICE, is there any other comparable set of speakers that is better, or comparable to this? People are saying that this or that sound system is better, but they are comparing higher priced options mostly. If you're looking to spend around $200-300....what else can beat this?

Financing is subject to credit bureau inquiry and approval. At a minimum I value my credit inquiries at $100 each which this offer does not meet.
Credit inquiries do NOT hurt your credit like most people believe. The fall in score is usually incorrectly attributed to an inquiry though usually is from data changing with one or all 3 bureaus (I.e. Account balances). Account balances have a massive impact on score and way more than inquiries ever will. So you may need to charge yourself $100 every time you use more than 10% of your available credit.

We'll find out November 15th when I get the 700 and can compare the 2.

So far I really like the 800 and the sub is huge I know the main differences are the sub size and obviously 2 less speakers on the actual bar. If the 700 does the job just as well then I'll return the 800 and get 2 700's for the same price I paid for the 800 (480)

Annoyingly I only have 1 day to test because the 800b return window for me closes on the 16th

Yea well I want to be compensated for the trouble of getting my history dinged.
As an aside, I don't think you have the financial data quite right. Minimizing the impact of credit pulls while emphasizing the self-inflicted damage is fair, but it is completely out of context.

That's the thing with soundbars. If you go with actual separate speakers, you're gonna need an amp/receiver. The amp/processing is built into the soundbar. Do you already have an amp/processor? As I said in other threads, if you're patient and check often, you can find really nice older AVR's that sold new for $1000, selling now for like $20 in thrift stores. I have a stack of them. Lol. Marantz, Denon, Yamaha...
Now once you have the amp/processor, you need a sub and speakers. There's a set of 5 jamo speakers in another thread for $170 that while not great, probably sounds better than this soundbar. There are several budget subs available. I posted earlier that the monoprice 12" 109723 (9723) is currently $99. Jamo has a nicer sub for a little more (C192 for $160).

You can put together a nice, cheap system. You have to be patient, persistent, and creative.

Any thoughts on which to pick between Q700B and S60B?
