I have 2 PB1000s in my setup. They def kick out some good bass, but so much depends on the room dynamics and usage. For $500 they're hard to beat, though.

Got the original 10 used for about $350 on eBay after reading they're protected against being over driven. It moves so much air that you'll feel a breeze 10 feet away when something explodes on screen

HSU Research, a very well regarded sub company online has a 15" VTF3-MK5 for $100 less (on sale) and is a US Based business available to talk to if there's a problem.

This sub is a no brainer compared to monolith, not that Monoprice/Monolith is bad, just overpriced and have next to no customer support.

If you're in no hurry might as well wait and see what happens.

If it doesn't no worry's this pops up regularly.

On the other hand if you have no preference or a blind buy you can't go wrong with this brand, this is a decent price for them.

TBH all the subs at this level are good and can't go wrong with any of them.

If you can stretch your budget a bit, the Pc-2000 special Svs has where they made a new batch for the holidays is a very good unit and much much better then the 10". I prefer SVs customer service as they have been fantastic for years and if you don't like it return it on there dime!
