This is a nice deal for sure leveraging the sale price with the 250 off coupon, but it's an odd placement even at ~$400 each.

I think this deal makes more sense if you have two separate usages where one good quality 10" would be enough for each room, maybe split an order with a buddy or a "regular" person being happy with a living room and basement pair in one shot. But then you've still got a lot of options to consider around $400 per sub.

A room big enough to need a pair of 10" subs would likely be better suited to larger subs to start. It's not like these are a compact 10" model or anything like that. Once you are ok with big boxes in the room you might as well go all in with larger drivers.

All in all subs are always a tough choice. I just struggle thinking where two of these at $800 would be the best choice for one room.
Dual subs are not purely about filling a room of a given size. It's also about compensating for the inability for perfect subwoofer placement and overall increased sound quality.
May want to peruse the last few pages of the monolith owners thread on AVS Forums. Reliability doesn't seem to be included in the price of these subs. Monoprice is responsive apparently.

For an alternative RSL has blemished Speedwoofer 10S MKIIs in white available for $399. It let me add a pair to my cart and no tax in GA. I emailed about these and these are factory cosmetic blemished not returns. Final sale no returns but carry the full warranty.

The wireless option for $50 extra seems nice. I ordered one in black and I should have it Friday.

Fantastic deal. Had a single M-10 V2 that hit hard but was too small for a 4500cu ft room. Wondering if 2 of these would be sufficient or just get 2 M-12s.

It does! Add 2 and use the discount code to reduce it to the title price.

Thank you - I'll continue to hold out for a 12" or 15" and expand on that if necessary.

Anyone in the Bay Area want to split the order?

They may be good for near field to supplement the rest of your subs.

Avoid these subs please. They still haven't fixed the red/green flashing light amp issue. People might say they haven't had any issues. But the issue is still present for others. My coworker has dual 16's less than a year old. 1 sub is on 3rd replacements. And 2nd sub is on its 2nd replacement.

I think 1 more is good unless you want bass in the entire room. Then you may want 3 or 4 m-10s total.

I have a room about the same size since its an open living/eating/kitchen room. I have 2 svs pb12-nsd in front and 1 pb1000 in the back kitchen area because i listen to music a lot while cooking. It would be nicer to have 4 but 3 covers almost all of it pretty well but im no audiophile, just a dude.

You have to real careful of people who have nothing but hearsay and have had no experience with what they speak of

I think Monolith has sold a LOT of subs and have a lot of satisfied customers
I am willing to bet that the people that actually had issues is a very small percentage of the total

I own four Monolith subs and never had an issue

I bought an open box 10" the last promo deal, it was dead upon arrival and had the blinking light amp issue. Text chat with customer service lead to a prompt fedex return label and they picked it up at my house. Was very bummed. Heaviest subwoofer I've had to move around due to the material and I own once twice the size in my home theater. Ended up snagging a SVS Outlet, the bluetooth app to manage speaker settings sold me.

I'm sure they sell many. Great value. I once believed the same as you but my 6 months old M15 V2 amp died and I had to fight all the way up to the VP of product development to get it replaced because foreign tech support jerked me around for two weeks saying Amazon was an unauthorized retailer and they wouldn't provide replacement or service. This was just last week. That said I do like the product but tech support leaves more than something to be desired

Like I said I actually own 4 and have had a couple of them for a few years
I have done a lot of research, before and I after I bought them from actual owners

I am not the only one

I am quite certain there are issues...but for some reason the hearsay is pretty ridiculous on these subs
All four of mine are V1 by the way. The V2 had not even come out when I purchased the first three units

As far as after sales support I have had much worse. with.Samsung...about the same with Denon/Marantz and a much better level from Arcam
