This is basically a better/upgraded version of the moto g play 2021 that I got for $79.00 brand new more than a year ago, that phone has 3gb of ram and 32gb built in storage while this has 4gb of ram, 64gb built in storage, better processor and the triple camera, decent phone but not a "slick" deal at $129.
I would say if this was $79 as of now in late 2022 during the holidays and going towards 2023 then it would be a pretty good deal, at $129 not so much.

You'll want to read through the whole thread though. There were some initials issues with HSN sending out the wrong phone, but that's been corrected because I received mine yesterday and it's the right phone now.

The 2021 stylus that you got from that link is a better phone than the phone in this deal for the same price for sure, but I'm going to wait for the 2022 stylus 5g to be in the $150 price range.

The 2022 stylus 5G is a much better phone, but tbh you'll probably be waiting until late 2024 for it to get down to $150.

The 2021 5G model with 6gb ram is significantly a lesser phone, and it's lowest price has been $180-$200. It will drop down to $150 range some time next year along with the non-5G 2022 model. The 2022 5G has a loooong ways to go.

I don't think that the 2022 5g stylus will take 2 years to be $150, I believe that sometimes in 2023 it will probably be in the $150-$200 area. It shares certain specs that some 2021 moto phones have such as the processor/screen resolution, ram, even though it has a 120hz screen refresh rate - the 2021 moto edge for example has a 144hz screen refresh, better processor and better cams that phone was already $249 lately.

Been using the 2020 since it came out and was looking to upgrade. Guess I'll hold on to this one and see what else pops up in the $200 range. No rush yet as it's been running fine. More just looking to get a cheaper plan than a phone.

Sure does; if I put it on battery saver mode it lasts all day of reading with a mix of light gaming and videos. Easily 6-8 hours. Great for when outside or something all day.

Unfortunately some carriers (AT&T) are phasing out phones that don't have 5g capabilities. Had a great smart phone (Hauwei Mate 20, 4G only) replaced freely by said carrier with a paper weight (Alcatel, crap phone from France that can't load up any usable apps, sold for fidy buckaroos)

For $130, this is a great phone. The argument of "it's basic" or "you can buy better (at twice the cost)" is pretty stupid at this price point. This is a solid phone with really nice features for those that don't need the extras.
