This is basically a better/upgraded version of the moto g play 2021 that I got for $79.00 brand new more than a year ago, that phone has 3gb of ram and 32gb built in storage while this has 4gb of ram, 64gb built in storage, better processor and the triple camera, decent phone but not a "slick" deal at $129.
I would say if this was $79 as of now in late 2022 during the holidays and going towards 2023 then it would be a pretty good deal, at $129 not so much.

I'm just a stick in the mud to not give Amazon any money. The more money they get, the more other vendors get choked out, which let's Amazon raise prices as a monopoly. I'd much rather go to the manufacturer direct.

As a fellow US consumer I hear you and think that is a valid point. I do what I can, but like everyone else I am a little lazy at times. Holiday season is a time I get a little lazy.

Man, I got the 2020 version for $50 back then. I had no idea what kind of bargain that was. My old phone was laggy as hell and needed a new one, happened to see the G Power for cheap and snagged it. It's still going strong and I use it daily. I've been looking to upgrade "just because" but when newer phones are more expensive and worse, I've got no incentive.

That's actually the 2021 Stylus 5G 6/256gb for $199 at best buy and all the other places.

It's a better phone than the neutered 4/128 5G version I mentioned for $130.

The 2022 non-5G stylus has barely come down to $180. The 5G version is still up around $300

I'm using the $199 Cosmic Emerald 256GB 2021 model now and have been very pleased with it since I got it last Thursday. Great speeds on Metro, and I changed over to T-Mobile Saturday to find up to 600 on 5G.
