these are phenomenal pieces of cookware, head and shoulders above anything allclad has to offer. this is a great deal on a set like this. normally I wouldn't advocate for a set but these are all very useful pieces.

The law of diminishing returns called.

This is only infinitesimally better or equivalent as All-Clad D3 for several times the cost.

they're insanely thick, for starters. even the line underneath Atlantis (industry5, goes by a few other names as well) are thicker than what allclad has to offer. these have great and even heat retention, and no chance in hell you could warp them without significantly trying. they have some special coating which makes them super easy to clean, and the welded handles means no rivets for gunk to get stuck around. short of some custom boutique pieces this is about the best you can get

Because if you buy them you won't be able to afford to turn the lights on.

lol. For regular folks like me who can't afford a $1k set of cookware, definitely.

It's up to the buyer if they feel that the performance between these and other good cookware brands (all clad, tramontina, cuisinarts pro line) is worth the price difference.

Love this brand. It's really not much more expensive than All-Clad (not counting the factory seconds) and will last a few generations.

I was just telling my friend that I, in fact, do not know how to cook; it's just that my cookware is so awesome and intuitive to use on induction that the cookware almost does the cooking itself. Hardly an overstatement. At least on induction. Demeyere Atlantis is so worth it, even though, yeah, the whole seven layer thing is probably just marketing wank

Baloney, you don't need these to be a great cook. My grandmother, who had very little money, cooked on cheap pots and pans and was the best cook ever. Everybody was amazed how well her food tasted. It's NOT what pans, pots you use. But, I guess if you want bragging rights and can afford it, go for it.
