Good grief that's a lot of laptop for 800 bucks. Anyone know what the catch is? I realize it doesn't have a touchscreen, but still.

per the reviews below, seems the performance is not up to bar with other laptops using the same CPU.

Yea. The CPU is throttled. Fans run constantly. Also it doesn't seemlessly switch screen hz. Screen goes dark when it switches. Can get annoying.

Bought it two weeks ago. While surfing, fan never comes on. While editing 1000 raw photos, comes on for a little while, then turns off. No more heat issues than any other laptop I've had. Anybody got a link to a better computer at a better deal?

for people who has it:
I got it few days ago and love it! but I cannot get the USB-C external display port to work. I updated all the drivers and BIOS, but still video without sound (I tried multiple cables including thunderbolt cables). Any thoughts?
