They have had this price for weeks now. I was hoping this would go lower for Black Friday.

I have the Wyze Handheld vac that I got from Walmart for $20. It's such a disappointment. This one looks so much nicer

I'm getting ready to move into my car. Is it strong enough? I have POS honda with the worst lint dust magnet carpet and upholstery. Even my very powerful corded Miele struggles. I have to use strong adhesive paper and fingers after vacuuming to rip fibers out with debris. I no longer have a place to plug in my vac. Need something cordless portable but strong. If such even exists.

I second this comment. We have 2 under 2 and this comes in any multiple times a day. Quick, easy, and convenient.

Whats the difference between the older model and the newer model? Just more accessories?

You'll probably want to go for a 12v car vacuum that would plug directly into your car, instead of this vacuum which requires a standard household outlet.

If 12v plugin is stronger than this, then yes.

I've been really surprised by how excellent this product is, totally unmatched by anything on the market, after using it for half a decade.

I had my eye on the newer pro/pet version of this, but wondering if I should just bite at this price vs. roughly $120-130. I doubt there is too much difference.

Brushing your floor/upholstery with an upholstery brush before vacuuming will loosen up most of the debris. Makes it so much easier and if it's your floor mats you'll be able to dump most of it in the trash.

QVC to the rescue with video of the features. The emptying mechanism seems nice.

Walmart and Target have the Pro Pet version on sale for $79.99:

Walmart [walmart.com]

Target [target.com]

RTINGs comparison suggests the Pet Pro is a better buy (link [rtings.com]):

Quote :
The Shark UltraCyclone Pet Pro+ is a better handheld vacuum than the Shark ION W1 WANDVAC. The UltraCyclone Pet Pro+ is easier to maintain, it has a larger dirt compartment, and its battery life lasts longer. It also comes with a turbo brush that has a self-cleaning brushroll to take care of hair wraps. Its performance on all surface types outperforms the ION W1 WANDVAC. However, the ION W1 WANDVAC has virtually no recurring costs, and it's easier to store.
