Don't forget 11% cb at R10 for Dell as of this posting. As with any high cb, they don't last long so act soon. Also check Chase for 5% cb offer for Dell. It's currently offered on my Freedom card.

Is bleeding an issue for this monitor brand?

This is not adaptive sync, right?

Great monitor especially for FPS games. Colors aren't the most accurate but they aren't horrible either. I'd rate it like maybe 7.5/10

I'm looking to gift someone a monitor for their Series X. They play games like Elden Ring and GTA as well as less-demanding games like Fall Guys.

Would this one do the trick? They occasionally would use the monitor for work but still just word processing/powerpoint and web browsing with some video calls.

Typically for more scenic/story mode games it's better to stay around 1440p 144hz type monitors. If that someone plays any sort of fps/competitive games then this would be the monitor to consider. Keep in mind there's also 360hz panels out there but the price jump is quite hefty.
I have always prioritized higher refresh rate monitors over higher resolution screens, but it does come down to preference and style of game play

Good to know, thanks. I'm looking through SD and trying to see one that offers higher refresh rate at a similar price but it looks like this is the one with the most value?

99% of people can't drive a 360fps so 360hz is irrelevant for most.

If not playing FPS, any good 75hz IPS 1440p is good. We got 27inch Lenovo q27q10 monitors in my kids rooms at $199 and they're perfect. Son plays Fortnite on the monitor and it's perfectly acceptable and looks great.

In general stick with IPS panels and you'll be safe

Seems like a solid buy if you are wanting to max out FPS on 1080p.

Does the current 10% count for this?

This is a good monitor with premium feel like and the same as good as the Dell S2522HG. FYI! Both monitors doesn't have HDR support. Hope this helps!

No. 10% is only for the computers it seems. The monitor would be considered accessories which is only 2%.

Bought this yesterday. They called today to confirm my order. Not sure if standard practice but I can tell you I tried buying this last time it was on sale from Dell and they cancelled it with no explanation.

If you like FPS games this is the monitor for you. This or the 360hz version.

1080P = more FPS then 1440P

25inch = less strain on the eyes having to flick your eyes to say a mini-map

IPS gives best viewing angle. Who cares about color accuracy unless your doing video or photo editing.

Expect a phone call or maybe your order cancelled. You've been warned.
