I think there's a statistic that the best deals are before black friday. black friday deals are kinda garbage items that get you in the door in my experience. slickdeals happen at 2am from a price mistake 😏

I learned from another comment that Costco insurance does not cover burn in. Just FYI

I'm torn between waiting for the C2 to drop more or getting the B2. What would you guys recommend? Is the C2 worth $300 more than the B2? I don't use a gaming console, so 4X 2.1 HDMI ports are nice but not necessary.

Not trying to influence your decision... just more info. If buying from Costco (current pricing) in 65" sizes, the C2 is $400 more... not $300 more. Plus, if the streaming credit matters to you, the C2 $75 offer expires 11/20/22, whereas the B2 $100 offer expires next year.

I know C2 is better, but is it $500+tax better? Wink
I really doubt I could tell the difference. I went with the 65" B2. Here's to hoping it's not useless from burn-in in a year.

snagged the B2 OLED 65in for $1299. This is a great deal. Costco is selling the 55in B2 for $999 on Black Friday. The $1299 price point is the best deal ever with a 5-year warranty.
Grabbed one yesterday as well Smilie been waiting for it to come down.

I'm trying to be patient. I'm more looking on sizes. I would be content with a 85-86", but I might settle for this one, if nothing better comes around.
To me price is not a problem, but I've been seeing too many complaints on TVs on this site, so going for a big prize item would have to be expensive but sure worth it. At this time, it seems the high price TVs also has many unsatisfied people, so the price have to be worth the risk, doesn't feel this way as right now.
My 4k 55" tv is holding great, even though I bought when people were feeling a 4k to be as ridiculous upgrade as the 8ks are right now.
But the 8ks aren't as cheap as the 4ks were when.first came into the market with little to no content.

No headache at all, I wouldn't buy any 55" tv as they're too small. 65" as of today unless being used as a monitor is minimum.

Box that small tv up and upgrade.
65 is kinda ridiculous Looking in a bedroom …

This looks good, and it would be even better if the price can be reduced.

it depends on the content you will be viewing and set up.....if you have a sound bar/system , then you will need to use 1 of the 2 HDMI 2.1 for that. I have a sound bar, apple TV, PS5 & Series X, so I needed the C2 for its 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs vs the B series 2.
