I've had good luck with the pair of MSI Gaming X 1660 Super cards we bought. The Gaming and Gaming X cards have better, quieter coolers than most. Can't even really hear them, even when gaming at 1440p and pushing the card to its capabilities.

What I've seen was that MSI are fine with their nvidia gpus but are lazy with AMD ones.

Yeah they thumbed you down for speaking the truth I bet they wont even see a 7900xt for less than $1000 once aftermarket vendors put theirs offering up put their coolers on them and release their version for $1000+. Also I got this GPU for for $485 through the capital one shopping plugin. I searched it on amazon and it automatically gave a link to getting it through Ebay with a $50 off coupon that the plugin automatically applied so I got this card for $485 I'm confident that the 7900xt even at $900 isn't going to be twice as good as the 6800xt seeing as what AMD showed us on November 3rd. Thanks again man and repped for letting us know it was back in stock.

Pretty true considering that it hasnt even been announced yet. And we also gotta remember that it will be scalped the first few months or so. That's why I'm looking for a 6700xt or 6800xt. whichever has the best deal/value.

Looks like nGreedia is launching their unlaunched 4080 12GB as 4070ti on January 5th. Price is unknown but if it's not $900 then $800.

Vendors do sell cards at MSRP. Models like the Strix or Red Devil will be higher but the entry level cards should be no more than reference.

The 7900 XT will probably not be 2x the 6800 XT but performance/price ratio does not scale linearly especially high end GPUs. The 6900 XT is only like 10-15% faster than a 6800 XT but it costs like 55% more at launch.

My guess is that it would be more like 1.5-1.7X the performance based on what we know the gap between the XTX and the 6950 XT.
