Don't listen to this troll. Facebook is unlikely to abandon the quest line given it dominates ~90% of the VR headset marketplace. And a meta account is not only easy to set up and link to oculus, it does not require you to actually do anything other than have one.

Gun Club, Knockout league, O shape. Those are fun then again those are the ones I've played. Down the Rabbit hole is a puzzle solver and Cities is similar to a simcity game.

The others I haven't played but if they're cheap enough for you, they could be fun VR experiences. These compared to PC games for now are a whole lot cheaper.

I just saw AmongUS VR. LOL. That's going to be a big one probably, eventually.

Plan on mainly playing linked to a i5 13500 rtx 3080 pc. Should I even bother with the oculus store? Got in on that 16ft cable deal the other day. Just awaiting a deal on a quest 2. Thanks

Racket:NX is really cool (and polished) if you like racquetball/similar racquet sports

Knockout League is $13 not $3. For $3 I'd give it a try.

FYI, Knockout League is $13.99, not $3.99.

as soon as Facebook abandons the product [theverge.com] or bans your account [reddit.com], all your purchases are a waste

meta account is a completely shitshow [oculusvr.com] with all kinds of issues

Quest 2 supports wireless play via air link if your WiFi router is fast enough. The Oculus store is still worth exploring for exclusives like Lone Echo. Steam VR is definitely gonna be your go to but I jump into the oculus store here and there to peruse

Is there a way to purchase games as Christmas gifts now and NOT receive them until then?

Had mine for a couple years now and play primarily through virtual desktop to wirelessly get to steam library, but it can be nice to have a few games that can travel with you out of town OR that the kids can play without monopolizing my computer. Oculus airlink seems ok too, but I was using virtual desktop before airlink was a thing.

~30% off about the best you normally see for Meta/Quest store (or coupon) except in special sales like this. If it is less than 30% off perhaps wait for it to go full price and use an OCULUS30 code.
