I bought a Jura C60 from Kohs for $$600ish plus the K cash ($1k retail), it works great and flawlessly after 5 years. Consider going kohls route for the higher priced small appliances

This is so true. I sprung for Philips super automatic and it's a true game changer. So much easier and more enjoyable an experience. Push a button and I'm done.
Skip all these and get a Gaggia classic pro. It's not automatic and you need a seperate grinder but light years better. These "cheap" sub $1000 automatics skimp on grinders. Renders half the machine useless.
