Just to add some craziness into the healthcare talk...My sister in law has been in the emergency room twice in the last few days (she's in now). Fever, body aches and pain, very high blood pressure, weird symptoms. The doctors now think it could be due to a bug bite. Weird thing is that we are in New Jersey, not an even slightly exotic location.
That's pretty scary! I sure hope they figure it out quickly, bug bites can cause some bad stuff.

LMAO I always get a kids meal at Culver's too! You get a little bit of everything and it's just enough food.

I don't know if I trust you about PTerrys. Mail me some to prove me wrong Wink
Funny thing is, if you have an airfryer to refresh them, you'd probably be a PTerrys fan too, even after getting them in the mail!

Lucky for me...I have TWO airfryers! That's enough for twice as much PTerrys, right? LOL

Culvers is awesome, but I usually get their chicken tenders kids meal with honey mustard sauce or their reuben sandwich. When hot, their fries are great for the bigger ones.

Locally, we have a burger place called PTerry's that has the best fries of any fast food place, including McDonalds. They are real potatos, cut fresh but super thin and you get a huge amount in an order.

Yum! I'm still waiting to graduate from my current liquid diet to a soft diet before I can eat real food again. Wink
Hope you are feeling much better and can graduate to real food very soon.

Surely they ruled out the usual suspect, Flu, Covid, etc. Geez, hope they discover the cause of her symptoms very soon!! She probably wasn't at the shore lately, ( jelly fish, etc) how 'bout the woods, forests, etc,?

NO New Jersey Jokes, puhleese!! We have beautiful beaches and farmland and parks and forests!!! Its called The Garden State for a reason!!!!!!!!!!!

You think? They can be really good if you get them steaming hot and freshly made but most of the time they are a big letdown. I used to eat fries all of the time but now I hardly eat them. The same with ice cream. And waffles. It's been years since I've had a waffle.

Two Guys was out here but the ones that I know of closed down. Two Guys wasn't anything special and they're prices were really high. Everybody raves about In & Out but it's far from the best burger and fries you can get. I wish that I could tell you my #1 place to go but I don't really have one. Probably The Habit for the burger. For the fries I don't know. I don't think anything compares to Bob's Big Boy back in the day.

What do you get at CVS that would be dinner? Vons is on fire out here. Ramen for 3 cents, 2 liter Cokes for 77 cents, Ritz crackers for 99 cents, Planter's Peanuts for $.99, Chips Ahoy for $1.22, and I know that I'm forgetting some stuff. The stores are stacked to the ceiling with everything.

I did a RA run but I never made it to CVS. The nerve med made me too sleepy. I'd say that I made around a $500 profit today. It would've been more if my brain had been working right but I made a lot of mistakes. I'm planning on going back out in a little while. I don't know when I'll make it to CVS. I've got a lot of stuff to do tomorrow and my MRI is on Friday. I usually don't do that much shopping on Saturday because the UFC is on and there's EA. I wanted to do the Hyland's deal so bad but I don't know anything about urlhasbeenblocked so I held off.
I don't think buttor was going to CVS for a burger. I think she meant if she travels out of the house to CVS, then she would hit some place for a burger! At least, I hope not!

They're not bad, but when I want a burger burger, they're not my top choice.

Waffles >>>> pancakes
I love waffles. Waffle House makes the best waffles.

Sorry, I guess that I'm more spaced out by the drugs than I thought. I hope that the MRI on Friday shows something that they can fix because I don't want to be on this stuff any longer than I have to be. It takes away my pain but it turns me into a vegetable. I was going to say that I've got the right name for it but according to google a pickle is a fruit so I couldn't even get that right lol.
I've never heard anyone say a pickle is fruit, lol, is that a real debate? I typically ask for pickles to be removed......

but I guess you can stay. LMAO

SD named me. I'm not a pickle fan myself. I can't remember the last time I had one. It was probably around the time that the Pilgrims landed at Pickle Rock...
That's hilarious!!! I just assumed you were being cheeky and picked your name because of something else.....

So how did you manage to never pay oop at RA? I did 3 transactions tonight. I couldn't do the deals I wanted to because of lack of stock so I did the best I could. I only had 13/65 cats so that contributed to my higher oop. I ended up spending $58 inc tax on the 3 transactions and I finished with $35 BC. I have $32 of candy sold tomorrow morning so I'm down to $26 cash to get $35 BC plus all of the stuff in my car from the three transactions minus the candy. All I have to do is sell another $26 and then I'm playing with RA's money. I don't know how that you wouldn't pay any oop starting with zero but if anybody is smart enough to do it you are. I'm certainly not.

So Vons is even more on fire than I thought. There are $1 coupons for Ritz and Chips Ahoy in the store. Don't run down there because you probably won't find them. Only one store had Ritz and somebody has been dropping Chips Ahoy off on top of the cookies. Ritz goes negative on 4 and Chips Ahoy is $1.12. For SoCal this is a big deal but for NorCal it's just another day at the office. They get all of the deals...
All the RAs closed in my region....but Plenti Points were great. They could be used/earned at several store and my local grocery store was part of it. It was pretty easy to get points from grocery shopping then just spend at RA or vice versa. And Plenti covered tax as well. BC did that too, but was kind of a bummer because there was no more cross-pollination between stores lol. I really couldn't tell you how to shop at RA nowadays. I haven't even been in Wags in forever either.

I wonder where people even shop now.....

CVS and Vons. Ralphs is very busy, too, but I always find myself going to Vons. RA rarely has any good deals and when they do they almost always involve urlhasbeenblocked. I need to look at next week's ad to see if it's any good. If it's back to the usual I may just cash out with Tide. You can never go wrong with Tide or paper products. I haven't been in Wags for a very long time. I never got the hang of the new system and when I had to cash out millions of points from the old system it left a very bad taste in my mouth. I'm often highly critical of CVS but it's the best we have even with the purge.
Yeah CVS is still really good, even though it's not always particularly exciting. lol It's pretty consistent.

I miss Wags black fridays....points to RR to points to RR lol.

Everything is digital now, which isn't bad per se....but I'd rather have my savings up front as opposed to having to worry about submitting a receipt, hoping it the picture is clear enough, waiting for it to be accepted, contacting customer service if it's not, cashing out as a gift card is paypal isn't an option......just alot of hoops.
