Lol Wut? Every powerlifter on the planet uses bumpers EXCLUSIVELY, except in competition when calibrated metal plates are sometimes used. Deadlift, clean and jerk, snatch, overhead squat. .. . . I mean the list goes on and on and on.

Lighter 260lb set is $350, drops $100 and 2x55lb from the deal, seems like more reasonable set for beginners or powerlifters who plan to buy additional 45lb plates

My first guess would be they slide on bar poorly, but it appears no rubber near the center.
