In before all the guys complain about how expensive this is and that a $20 hair dryer is just as good yet all the women will say this is the best thing ever and worth it.

I bought this last year on black Friday for my girlfriend, she loves it, still says it's way better than any cheap hair dryer.

Lol. The pro of this is to keep the Mrs happy.

Seriously, the dryer is quieter than other dryers and leaves my wifes hair less frizzy than others. She has naturally dry hair so this was key for her. Its also lighter than all others. It seems a good portion of the weight is in the handle so its easier to manage. I don't use it though so take this with a grain of salt.

Airwrap (female) owner here. For the men who are considering buying this as a gift, it's almost certain that your giftee wants an Airwrap and not just the dryer. While not on sale, Ulta carries them and sometimes has very good gift-with-purchase if you buy there.

I have this hair dryer. Everyone said it was so pricey etc.
But for someone that has thick and heavy hair, it cuts the drying time in half.

So worth it.

I hadn't tried to the Shark competitor though.

The air wrap helps to give curls and stuff.
But there are other competitors in Shark and Revlon, so you pay for the brand really.

The hair dryer though, at least for me, someone who has thick and alot of hair, this hair dryer doesn't damage my hair and also cuts the dryer in half.
