If that is the only concern but you like the Google experience, these are extremely easy to add a dongle for a USB port to add a flash drive for additional storage.

I'm sure there are cheaper options available if you are willing to look. That is just an example. Pair it with something like this Samsung 64gb flash drive on sale and that should be more than enough for most users:

2GB RAM isn't bad but 8GB storage is just not enough anymore given how bloated apps get

Only about 4.5 GB is available for apps. If you're planning to run a skinned Kodi build with widgets+typical apps like Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max etc, you'll run out of space quick

That's a good deal. I would pick another one up for the next TV I plan to get, but I am hoping for a new model with a better remote to come out soonish.

Seems unlikely, but a man can dream...

I bought one two weeks ago from BestBuy for $39. Asked them for price match but unfortunately the model number is different:
Best Buy- GA01919-US
Walmart- GA04317-US
So, they won't give me any refund.
