You can use a capable hub to maybe get it to work, but no doubt you'll end up spending more if you go the hub and dongle route.
Anyone know what to do, when the Google Home app doesn't detect it? I've factory reset it far too many times but nothing works.
If everything is on the same network, check your router settings. Some routers support blocking multicast traffic and may have other "prevent devices from seeing each other" features.
