I can't say enough good things about this sprayer. My hair stylist was using one and now I have 4 of them.
These are great for plants, hair and this past summer it was awesome on a hot day.

why would you want to hold upside down while spraying? I assume most spray bottles don't spray well that way

So that you can get into crevices that don't allow the entire bottle to fit into. Good quality spray bottles will allow spraying upside-down.
