Same here....Pa sales tax adds almost $13 dollars for me which brings it to $226.84. I'm considering calling guitar center in Delaware which is tax free and only about 25 mins away to see if they'll price match. Either way, this is still a great deal in my opinion.

Any similar discount for the Mini that's more than the MINIBF30 that is $30 off?

Unless your time is worth less than $10 per hour, driving to DEL and back - 90 round trip - is a fool's errand. And that's not factoring in gas, wear & tear, etc.

Spending $75 to $100 to save $13?? Nah.

My Spark was great, but I'll let people decide if the Spark Mini is a better fit. It's more portable, it's battery powered, it acts as a Bluetooth speaker and a DAW, and does most of the same stuff as the full sized Spark.

Since I just want the amp for practicing and experimenting with effects, I sold my full size Spark and use the Mini now.

I have this and it's great. It's a good practice amp for anyone starting out and want to experiment. The small footprint doesn't take up space and it's decently loud for the size. I have no experience with the Mini but I suspect if you want to use it for anything beyond just personal practice, like for rehearsals or jamming with others now or in the future this would be better.

Thanks for the post!
I bought the same spark at Amazon few days ago for $229 and thought it's a good deal.
But this deal is much much better: $15 cheaper and includes travel bag!

Thanks again Smilie

Agree with going with the Mini. A couple of notes, you have to use the app for any adjustments - not as many knobs but everything is done in the app, and the Mini is not as loud - but that's ok for a portable practice amp and it's loud enough imo for my use and expectation.

Adding on top of all of the good advice - I just recently added a $65 power bank which gives me plenty of playing time so I can bring my spark 40 anywhere

I love my Spark Mini! I keep it on my living room bookshelf and it has increased my practice/playing time a TON since I got it. The Mini sounds incredible, and I've heard good things about the Spark 40. If you're on the fence... jump! You won't regret it (and if you do... you can resell it to someone who will enjoy it).

My man. Marylander here and Christiana is only 40 mins away. Almost all of my expensive tech purchases means a nice trip to DE.

I love mine. Best practice amp I ever had. At this price it's a no brainer.
