10 ah so 410 watt hours at full charge or 360 watt hours nominal.

No kick scooter batteries can go on planes.

There's some confusion about the range on this vs the Blackhawk. They look nearly identical but the Blackhawk claims 28 miles of range while this claims 18 miles.

I own the Blackhawk and no way it'll get 28 miles unless you count coasting downhill for half of it.

The spec sheets list identical 10 ah battery and 350 watt motor so I suspect Hover-1 came to their senses and put down a more realistic range for this version.

I returned mine after one week from the last Best Buy sale. Stopped working altogether. It was nice when it worked but I wouldn't do it again

Same. I got that Hover scooter on the 2019 deal, and it's been great. My wife takes it to work nearly half mile each way daily. It's held up fine including the stem hinge. The fact it's a lighter duty/range model has been a plus, easy to fold and carry in/out of house and work. My wife isn't overweight though, and takes care of the scooter. For a heavy person and if bashing it about, maybe a heavier duty more expensive scooter is the ticket.

Installing an XT-60 switch would allow one to use either the stock battery or a larger external one.
