did a price match from best buy as Amex has 25$ off on 250$ offer in most cards. final price 379 + 32.69(tax) = 411.69 - 25(amex) == 386.69

FYI series 8 stainless steel gps + cellular 41mm S/M randomly drops to $489 form regular price of $699. Silver, gold and graphite stainless steel versions 41mm S/M occasionally drop in price. Amazon usually drops price fist then Walmart will price match on their site until Amazon price goes back up.

Also check used for good deals. Recently got a series 7 gps + cell used acceptable for $259 Watch arrived looks like new but repackaged. Battery health 100%.

If you buy Amazon used make sure to check remaining warranty and battery health before keeping.

I've been looking for the series 8 stainless steel gps + cellular in the silver and have not seen it drop to $489. Been looking since September. 😞.

Why not just opt for the Series 7? Can be found for much cheaper and Series 8 only has a feature for women's cycle tracking (which I read isn't very useful) and car crash detection as upgrades.
