Fluance RT80 Classic High Fidelity Vinyl Turntable Record Player with Audio Technica AT91 Cartridge, Belt Drive, Built-in Preamp, Adjustable Counterweight, Solid Wood Plinth - Piano Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F2B3FKI/
On sale for $169.96, regular $199.99.
An excellent entry level record player, well reviewed with a good cartridge. Please note that you will need powered speakers or an amplifier with passive speakers to use this player.
It has gone as low as $150 but that was over 2 years ago, and most audio gear has gone up in price.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

If you are looking for starter powered speakers. These are a decent option. Edifier R980T 4" Active Bookshelf Speakers - 2.0 Computer Speaker - Powered Studio Monitor (Pair) https://a.co/d/ghrc5zW $89.99

You can also opt for a class D amp like the AIYIMA A07 TPA3255 Power Amplifier 300Wx2 HiFi Class D Stereo Digital Audio Amp 2.0 Channel Amplifier for Passive Speaker Home Audio (A07+DC 32V Power Adapter) https://a.co/d/hKoNGOV $69.99
And some passive speakers like the Limited-time deal: Jamo S 801 Bookshelf Speaker Black - Pair https://a.co/d/gKlprgr $81.50
This is an excellent deal. Fluance makes stuff that punches WAY above its cost, and this is no different. It's a little unfair to call this table entry level, as it's got features you'd pay Audio Technica twice as much for, and, in my opinion, it's better made than virtually all of their offerings. If you're in the market for a turntable, this is a certified great buy.

So you're the guy who spent all the money buying those MoFi records that you now can't listen to because they're sullied by digital, right?

Good luck to you, man. I hope you truly believe you can hear a difference, even though those of us in Sanityland know you're fooling yourself.

Lol. Wtf are u talking about? You sound really depressed or otherwise ill. I simply asked if you knew how the bypass was implemented. You claimed you had some knowledge about it. I guess you're clueless 🤡

Absolutely not true in any way. Nobody listen to this guy, he's completely full of it.

Actually, you have no idea what you're talking about. Seriously clueless. The minuscule signals coming out of a passive phono cart can be affected tremendously by any circuitry between it and the preamp. You should honestly do some research before making claims you can't back up.

Three things that really help squeeze every ounce of sound quality out of a turntable:

1. Buy a decent level and make sure your turntable is dead-on level in every direction.

2. Find a cartridge alignment template online and make sure the cartridge is at least in the game. Many pre-installed carts are horribly out of alignment. (Yes, there are more precise and expensive ways to do a cartridge alignment than an online template, but for the budget-minded, they can be a game-changer.)

3. Make sure the tracking weight is correct -- again, there are calibration videos online that demonstrate how to do this. It's absolutely worth doing.

You left out: a high quality phono preamp.

Looks like this deal is active again at Amazon for anyone who missed it previously (although shipping is delayed until "December 8-13").
