Highly recommend ordering a custom build with the same coupon. Worth it to upgrade to the 165hz 500-nit screen.

Don't forget cashback and teacher/student savings...

The NVIDIA RTX A2000 Laptop GPU or A2000 Mobile is a professional graphics card for mobile workstations. It is based on the GA107 Ampere chip and offers a similar performance to the consumer GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU. It also offers 2,560 CUDA, 20 Raytracing and 80 Tensor cores paired with a 128 Bit memory bus. It is available in different variants from 35 - 95 Watt (TGP) with different clock speeds (and performance). The GPU supports eDP 1.4b to connect the internal monitor and DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 for external connections.

What the hell is an RTX A2000?!? I seem to have missed an announcement or two.

It appears to be a professional workstation graphics card that can do some mild gaming.

Same here. Seems to be a little bit better than the laptop 3050/3050 TI.

I was playing around with a confit for the X1 carbon gen 10 and was a lot more money. Other than weight I don't see the value in the X1 compared to this deal. Thoughts?

These are workstation grade graphics card used for rendering and heavy CADD applications. Don't bother if you are looking for something to game with.

Vapor Chamber cooling is available only with A3000/A4500/A5500 and 3070/3080 GPUs. The performance is significantly better with Vapor Chamber.
