This is a great brand and good starter price if you want to try resin printing. Just know that the fumes from these resins are toxic and very smelly -- you need to find a basement / garage, etc. away from your general living area to keep this from smelling up your home. Vents, windows and fans will help, of course.
You will also need to purchase resin (about $20-$30 a bottle on average), disposable gloves, paper towels, a funnel, isopropyl alcohol, etc. to perform the cleanup process. A respirator or mask is good for your health, but that's up to you.
You can save some on the cleanup process by skipping buying the additional wash and cure station. Just use an old bucket to rinse in the alcohol and pick up a UV light or UV LED light strip from Amazon to perform the cure process.
You don't necessarily need a wash and cure station. I use one now, but before I got one, washing in isopropyl in a tub and leaving in the sun to cure worked fine. A wash and cure station is a convenience tool, not a necessity.

I was looking at the Anycubic Photon Mono 4K. Wonder which would be better to get into resin printing.
Different size build plates different resolution and different software. If you are just wanting to dip your toes this is a great deal. Keep in mind for any resin printer you will need a wash and cure station. Some 98% Isopropyl Alcohol paper towels gloves and mask too. Oh and a pc for the slicer software This is a very very good price.

Elegoo wins over anycubic every time. Elegoo customer service is top notch and replacement screens are cheaper. The mars 2 pro (M2P) is a fantastic machine. This price is quite amazing too.

Great advice for sure. But what do you mean by different software. You can choose whatever slicer you like. The 2 main slicers being Lychee and Chitubox. Lychee doesnt require firmware updates with each software release so it tends to be the easier of the 2.

You can use sunlight right? Just takes much longer obviously.

Damn this is cheap. I have the original Mars and it still works great years later. Never had to upgrade because it works so well. I'd definitely recommend Elegoo printers.
SOOOO tempting! I have been looking at the Mars 3 Pro and hoping it would get a massive black friday discount but it seems it may not as they try and blow out some older stock I guess.
Seems like the 2 pro is still an awesome printer just a little smaller and slower and of course 2k vs 4k and the .05 vs .035 micron....
Does anyone have both that can say if it is worthwhile to wait and see on the 3 pro or just snag the 2 pro and be happy?

What's the learning curve like if I own an Ender?
It's a whole different animal. The workflow is similar with model, slice, print but there are different processes when it comes to supports and post processing. Resins are smelly, messy, and require special handling prior to curing. That said, the print quality doesn't compare to FDM. The best filament printers can't match the level of detail that can be achieved with this $125 printer
