    Was promising, but total failure as a product (probably why they're dumping them now).

    They're stubbornly refusing to fix a really simple problem that requires the device to get recalibrated just about every day, if you don't open and close the door quickly without hesitation (a stupid requirement).

    That's why I bought mine, for a jimmy-proof surface mount lock. But maybe your usage pattern is simplistic; most of us need to recalibrate daily if the door lingers open for even a few seconds, too close to the magnet, etc. It's a disastrous design.
