Samsung Firmware is always buggy. I have a TV that won't retain it's custom picture settings.... and yes it is not on demo or store mode, I have made sure of that. Settings work well as long as the TV is left ON even for several hours. As soon as you turn power off using the remote all picture options, back light in particular max out. Very annoying.

Based on the comments, I think Ill skip this one. Anyone have any recommendations of a couple of overall decent brands for the $$? I'm looking for a TV for mostly kids movies/TV in an extra living room and it doesn't have to be anything amazing but I'd like it to be a crisp picture and last longer than a few years if possible.
Maybe this isn't the place to ask this but figured I'd give it a shot with all of you that know TV's! 😁

I like Samsung TVs as long as I have chromecast attached to it I'm good... I don't really like roku or fire tv because they don't allow casting.
