ABSOLUTE F*ING life changer!!! I LOVE my S7 MaxV Ultra. We have mostly hard floor with some sections of area rugs and it's amazing how this thing can manage to clean up everything. We have 3 cats, a bird, and a dog and I truly regret not getting this sooner. Now I only wish some of the refills go on sale as I am soon up for some replacements. The obstacle avoidance is impressive, and we also enjoy using it as a spy cam to watch our kitties when we're away. It's kinda hypnotic to just look at the camera stream when it's cleaning. The one thing I will mention though is that the dirty water tank does smell rank when you open it, so if you are disgusted by the thought of practically sewage sitting in that dock, you might want to clean the tank more often that when it's full.

Your comment is not helpful. What do you expect? Most of the products are made in China anyway.

And it's a vacuum, you worry on Chinese people knowing the map and layout of your house and how frequent you use the vacuum? Same thing will happen if this products is made in the US, US companies will also track the same data.

IMHO, i think this is not the best deal given it's call the Black Friday deals.

The discounted pricing is basically the same as past deals we have seen here. It's a shame, i was waiting to see the S7 MaxV Ultra, but it's still very pricey.

Mop is pre-wetted with Ultra before start of the run.

It's not. The Dreametech L10s has stronger suction, mops better, has a mop dryer (S7 has mop pad smell issues) doesn't have a mopping mechanism known to fail down the line, and is currently cheaper. And subjective, but the base station is much better looking.

Does the ultra come with the bag required for dust bin or do I need to order the initial one separately? Anyone with experience have a recommendation for replacement bags?

Jealous. Wish I could compare them head to head. I return too much stuff as it is and after I just returned an ecovacs t8 and bought the s7 max ultra the wife said I'm keeping it because I'm guilty of comparing too much when I do research and unsure until I try the product for myself.

Pretty sure the s7 maxv is a keeper anyways :p

edit: Not sure I could commit to the dreametech anyways as I think they need to be on the market a little longer. I know theyre owned by the same parent company but it just bothers me because roborock is proven for software and reliability

I started looking yesterday at purchasing my very first robotic vacuum and its been a wild ride in research marathon to pinpoint which to get. I am typically all about value but will also consider performance. Everything I reviewed kept pointing back to Roborock. They make three versions of the Roborock Max; the basic having only a charging base that will have to be emptied almost daily. The Plus version that comes with an auto emptying base. And the Ultra that can empty the vacuum, refill the mop and even clean mopping pads. All three versions of the s7 Max use the exact same robot. After many hours of research, it came down to two brands, Roborock Max & Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni. The video below helped my selection towards the Roborock Max Ultra... there is just nothing better out there.

For what is worth, I ended with a final price of $887.48 in Amazon for the S7 Max Ultra. I did this by applying for the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature with a $200 Gift Card sign-up bonus (offer thru 11/28) & 5% cash back for Amazon purchases ($47). You can get instant approval ....
