1 star reviews are consistent and savage - lots of road noise and premature wear. Anyone here has experience with this tire?

Not this one but poor performance from good year assurance. I should of known better but was limited to availability due to Covid. This was for a minivan driven 6000 miles a year. Junk within two years

I believe Reliant is made specifically for Walmart. Discount Tire gave me the 225/65/17 Assurance A/S for $100 each because they didn't carry the Reliant.

I had a flat last week in nowhere Arkansas that couldn't be patched. I limped to a Walmart about 20 miles away and they installed this tire (different size) as it was the only one in stock that fit. So far so good. It was fine on the 600 miles home. We shall see what the next year brings.

I just put 4 reliants on my Pacifica minivan today. Great ride home and good customer service at my location. Wife and I found them to be nice and quiet as well, which was a concern from some reviews.

Bad longevity feedback like this makes me nervous though. Reliants have a 65k warranty, not sure on assurance. Were you able to use the warranty to replace yours? How did you address the problem?

I've had them for about 2 months on my optima. Can't complain for the price, pretty thick thread imo

I've had these tires on my SUV for almost a year. They drive fantastic up here in the different kinds of weather in New England. They're only a tad bit louder than the OEM Michelins that came with my car. I have no complaints, and nothing negative to say. I'd highly recommend them, especially at this price.

2 blowouts on the Goodyear Assurance on my C-Max. Would avoid if at all possible.

Yes, they were fine in the beginning but became loud and low tread life after 12,000 miles. Toyota during oil change advised me. Went back to Sam's Club and I kid you not, told me that's what you get for buying cheap tires!!
They weren't that cheap 135 per tire but yes they weren't the Michelins that I prefer. But like I said no one could get me the Michelins at the time. No prorate as of yet. Apparently they need to be 2/32 before prorate at Sam's even though Toyota said they would at the 3/32 at which they are currently at as of two months ago.

Just got a set of four in 225/55R19 for Mazda CX-5 $125 a tire ($500 set of 4). From the reviews, I was worried about road noise and tires manufactured years ago. These tires were made in September 2022. And I am experiencing less road noise than the more expensive Michelins we had from Costco (about $1000 for set of 4) Jury is still out thou.

Also made in Mexico, if that matters to you.

I had 5 punctures on the twice expensive Costco Michelins I had on my car previously. One tire had too many so they made me buy a new one because they don't patch more than two,

Might want to check the alignment of that vehicle. Even cheap no-name tires last more than 12,000 miles.
