I don't have this exact one, but I have the Optoma P2B and it's awesome.

One thing I wish I had known beforehand though is how low to the ground I would have to have it in order to get a 120" display. Keep that in mind if you're looking to get a stand for it. Mine is not even 12 inches off the ground.

Wow this is a great deal... This mops the floor with just about every UST projector deal we had on here and its not even close. Had to triple check this was the latest D2 series and not the P1 but it definitely is, fixed all the short comings of the P1 and then some.

Darn I never planned on spending $2K today but finger getting itchy, if it could do 150" screen size I would be sold unfortunately this maxes out at 120". Need to think hard on this one, this is a winner for movies and for gaming it literally does it all, if you only need 100-120" screen size there is nothing better if you need or want UST form factor.

As someone who has the Wemax UST projector and already wants to upgrade, I think I would hold off until triple-lasers come down a bit more in price. I know this one is much brighter, but I would fear the colors would still be a bit washed out.

My main two requirements are 150" screen I can make 120" work but Im looking to expand in the future. Unfortunately just about every projector thats UST has horrible input lag this is one of the few that can hit 4ms, even the 3-4K in cost ones are above 30+ms which does not work for heavy gaming. The newer generations and refreshes are fixing that issue so I will probably keep on waiting for another 4 months till more newer USTs come out.

Its stated as 3000 lumens which is a more than enough even without a proper screen to give you good picture during the day.

As low as 4ms for 1080p gaming being one of the few UST projectors to actually have lag this low, I believe at 4k it hits 16-18ms which is still one of the only ones that can do it, since just about all the other ones range from 30-90ms and thats unacceptable for anything but the most casual of gamers.

Lol no thats just the Wemax being trash, triple laser isnt a savior, just about every review shows the Wemax having horrible color reproduction I also drilled that point home in just about every Wemax thread because too many people were hyping that projector up.

The only thing the wemax was ever good at was being a cheap UST, outside of that it didnt do anything well it was the worst UST out of all of them which is why its price from MSRP plummeted to where its at frequently on sales.

It's missing eARC, and won't Atmos feature of home theater/ Soundbar. You would ended up getting 5.1 sound only. I'm stuck with mine and can't enjoy Atmos.
If you are running everything through an atmos capable processor/ receiver it does not matter one bit.

How are these in terms of picture quality (compared to OLEDs or mini-leds)? Also how do they perform in bright rooms? Is the image quality you will get comparable or do you swap clarity and contrast for potential size?
