For infrequent use, 120xp vs 90t vs 84t? Does it matter?
Frequency of use is irrelevant. What matters is if you'll be using them in tight spaces. You won't need the 120xp very often, but when you do it's because the others won't do the job at all.

120xp might get you out of a tight spot someday, but 95% of the time any tooth count will do.
Kids used to say that lower tool counts made for stronger ratchets, but those myths got dispelled with all those "test until failure" videos on youtube.
Must resist. I don't have teardrop ratchets yet, and I totally get while people like them, but too much $$$ right now. And, 98% of the time I would just use the 3/8, one of them.
i have this set. it tend to only use the 1/4 and mid length 3/8 one. the others aren't really used. I also hate that they don't lock in position
(I wrench on my cars almost weekly)
These don't look like they lock. Is that a big deal? I've been interested in flex head for a while but I feel like on other threads folks have said locking is a must?
