I bit on one of these EyeDictive "deals" but wrote in to Timberland asking re authenticity
And they wrote back that EyeDictive is not an authorized reseller and that Timberland is already investigating them for fraud.
Don't know what the Hugo Boss relationship is, but i imagine similarly suspect.
So YMMV on all these great buys of "brand name" sunglasses. You'll at least get high quality knock offs? Comments will be a mix of "mine were authentic!" and "i got fakes"... realistically most people don't have the knowledge to make the distinction. Slickdeals gets their kickback whether they are legit or not.

I bought Hugo Boss Aviators from them before that started falling apart within just a couple of months (the lens coating started peeling and the frame started coming undone). I had bought another Hugo Boss pair (different style) from them at the same time which are holding up great. Makes me think the first pair were cheap knockoffs. Guess it's roll of the dice with eyedictive which would explain the polarized reviews (pun intended)
Chances are slim. I've purchased from them before and they sent fakes. Getting them to take it back and get refund was a huge pain until i threatened charge back with my credit card. Read other threads on this seller and you'll see tons of others that get fakes. Don't know how this seller hasn't been banned from here but shill deals will shill

The sunglasses market is especially full of "grey market" goods. They are frequently authentic products but sold by a unauthorized reseller or bought from an authorized retail channel in a cheaper market and resold at below (MAP/MSRP) market cost in a more expensive market like ours.
Joma shop and eyedictive are regularly painted as selling "fakes" but every pair I've bought have been real, that said, I hope to never have to make a warranty repair claim on any.

Yeah I had similar doubts and this brand has no presence except in slickdeals...damn they might be feeding slickdeals a lot to keep popping up their deals every now and then.. I started to doubt the aunthecity of slickdeals brand.

Notice how the EyeDictive customer service account that comments on Slickdeals thread didn't respond to you…
I'm pretty sure that slickdeals is getting a huge kickback from this fake sunglass merchant. Otherwise why should non other than staff keep posting these deals?
So i ordered sunglasses from EyeDictive and this place is a definitely fraudulent.
I received two empty boxes with nothing inside them except a glasses wiping cloth. I now have to file a fraud claim with my bank. I'm shocked Slickdeals is allowing this to come through.

That is pretty telling to me.
